News Flash
I am sick and tired of being sick and tired! Yesterday I came down with some bronchial upper respiratory something that has knocked me on my keester. (Hey Ben? Beth? Did I spell that correctly?) Hm. I sound angry. I think perhaps I am.
LC, Here's what the doctor does when he gets sick. First a drink a lot of fluids, especially orange juice on ice. Also gatorade is good. Then I take a hot hot bath, as hot as I can get it. I stay in the tub until the water is more warm than hot. Then I get out quickly, dry off, put on a set of sweats (pants and top) and climb under the covers. I sweat a lot and sleep. Usually when I wake the stiffness and achyness is gone. I'm really not much for medications but will take motrin or tylenol if needed.
Prayers that you recover quickly and that this not move into your lungs. This hot/cold spell we've had has really created a lot of illness lately.
I think it's kiester. Let's check google. Apparently it's not a dictionary word. Keester, kiester, and keyster all seem to be accepted spellings. "Keester" is the most popular.
Now when would I ever correct you? Especially in spelling. I only correct "jokes" that are genuinely, kind, thoughtful, loving, considerate, caring (shall I go on?) gestures. Oh wait, I did correct the spelling on the lunch order form on the counter Tuesday. :) I stand corrected.

Hmmm...according to Merriam Webster, it's "keister"...but who's checking? *S*
Hope you are back on your feet soon. I've been fighting a bronchial thing a couple weeks now, too.
Actually, "keister" is how I wanted to spell it. I just thought I'd give Ben & Beth another opportunity to correct me, since I am hardly ever wrong!!
;o)

The wording may have said "joke," but the context did not. Sorry you missed that.
And we both know -I- wasn't the one who put the lunch order on the counter yesterday...
