And when you are fully recovered...which beach do you frequent? Through the years I have gradually migrated further south. From Whichard's Beach (is it really a beach?) in my youth to Atlantic Beach and Morehead City in my wilder days, to Topsail in my teaching days to Holden Beach for the last 20 or so years. Always thought Nags Head water was too cold for my liking. We occasionally get down to Myrtle Beach but to this day I've never stepped on the sand there. Went to Hilton Head once but it wasn't a beach sort of trip.
